Job Summary:
As part of our Asia Engineering Hub, we are seeking ATE Test Engineer to support our Signal Integrity Products group. In this role, you will develop and implement test solutions for our point-to-point transfer of high-speed data in optical communication, broadcast television, and professional AV markets. You will collaborate closely with other engineers from design, product and characterization teams to ensure product performance, quality, and reliability meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
• Work on NPI development from small volume sample to mass production release
• Develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) programs and hardware for production testing, primarily on the Advantest V93000 platform
• Analyze electrical specifications from device datasheets to create ATE test plans
• Create probe and final test schematics, and design/optimize test hardware
• Collect and analyze device performance data and help establish test limits through temperature characterization
• Manage production test programs at manufacturing sites
• Identify and drive test time and test cost reductions, and well as yield improvement projects
•Manage daily laboratory and test equipment.
•Review and investigate OCAP and reduce the occurrence of non-value added OCAP
•Conduct testing for new product development and any testing required by our customers
•Maintain lab productivity by monitoring the workload and functional areas
•Independent project management skills
•Improve quality issues, Problem solving skill with 8D method
•QC Tools: HPLC, IC, ICP, CPS, LPC
1.Assist in the development of new processes and procedures
2.Operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment used.
3.In charge of writing S.O.P of all manufacturing activities.
4.Responsible for performing all work within Company and cGMP regulatory guidelines.
5.Performs all levels of work required in the Department.
6.Develop, Supervise and Train Staff assigned.
7.Scheduled Production activities (sequence of operations, durations, and staff quantities per asset) to ensure operations as well as Building Services and Maintenance scheduling
1. Manage wafer foundries support and performance for advanced technology nodes; 22nm and beyond
2. Assess readiness, cost, and maturity of foundry advanced technology nodes; 22nm and beyond
3. Coordinate with foundry interfaces and internal R&D team for NPI (New Product Introduction, or tapeout)
4. Coordinate with foundries and lead the course of smooth transition from NPI to mass production
5. Coordinate with internal R&D, Quality, and Test Engineering team to resolve yield and/or quality issues, and drive
yield improvement
6. Interface with customers to respond to all inquiries related to wafer processing technology and manufacturing
7. Work place can be in either Taipei or Hsinchu
