Based in our Hsinchu office, you will collaborate closely with the embedded software team, contributing to engineering validation during the early stages of product development. With full access to the design and product source code, you will play a key role in identifying weaknesses and proposing effective solutions. In this role you will: • Participate in the initial phases of product design, coordinating validation tasks in conjunction with the embedded software engineering team. Implement the plan to deliver world class experiences. • Enhance quality standards by identifying opportunities for product designs and process enhancements, collaborating closely with embedded software and system architects to integrate these improvements. • Collaborate effectively with the embedded software development team, providing timely and constructive feedback, and taking proactive initiatives to contribute to the overall success of the project.

Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team: • 5 - 8 years of experience in engineering validation, white box testing, and testing automation. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar field. • Proven track record in delivering consumer electronics products. • Fluent in programming languages Python. • Experience on test case design and performing exploratory/regression tests. • Proficiency in software development management tools like JIRA and GitHub. • Participating in requirement meetings & Scrum meetings to discuss software specifications and controls. • Using the software as intended to analyse its functional properties. • Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product. • Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs. • Act as a subject matter expert for focus areas across the test automation space. • Follow and improve the coding standards with the team on the test automation code, ensure the high code quality. • Actively look for the latest tools and technologies within or outside the company. • Actively learn and help implementing the new industry standards related to testing and automation. • Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly. • Finalizing and documenting testing procedures. Preferred Qualifications: • Proficient in embedded software development tools and techniques. • Deep expertise in audio and wireless technologies. • Help identifying the dependencies, risks and bottlenecks in the project proactively. • Work actively with the developer within the team to resolve them. • Completing final tests and creating test reports. • Presenting test reports to Test Lead, management and suggesting software fixes. • Experience on Agile software development process. • Strong attention to detail. • Good problem solving and trouble shooting skills. • Excellent software troubleshooting skills.
